Female Disability Support Worker

Wings Community Services is a growing, values-driven NDIS provider committed to delivering person-centred, respectful, and high-quality supports to people living with disability. We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate Casual Disability Support Workers to join our team in a sleepover-supported home environment.
This role is ideal for experienced support workers who are flexible, dependable, and open to ongoing opportunities, with the potential to transition into a Permanent Part-Time role for the right candidate.

You will be supporting participants in a supported accommodation / sleepover house setting, assisting with daily living activities and community participation while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
This position requires availability for at least 3 sleepover shifts per fortnight.
Shifts will include a mix of weekday and weekend work, offering variety and consistency.
Shift Types May Include
- Morning long shifts
- Morning short shifts (4 hours)
- Afternoon / evening shifts (4 hours)
- Sleepover shifts
- Weekend shifts
Flexibility is required; however, a fixed roster may be offered to staff who demonstrate permanent availability and suitability across different shift types.
Key Responsibilities
Mandatory Requirements
- •Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support
- •Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- •Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card – QLD)
- •Current First Aid & CPR
- •Right to work in Australia
- •Ability to commit to minimum 3 sleepovers per fortnight
- •Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
- •Reliability, flexibility, and a person-centred approach
Highly Desirable
- +Experience in SDA / SIL or sleepover environments
- +Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviours
- +Medication competency
- +Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Pay & Conditions
- ✔Employment under the SCHADS Award – Level 2.1
- ✔Applicable penalty rates, sleepover allowances, and weekend rates apply
- ✔Casual loading paid in accordance with the SCHADS Award
- ✔Shifts allocated based on availability, performance, and participant needs
